This machine pre-dates the gameboy and although it is a handheld, it is a bit of a beast. It takes two PP3 batteries (18V!) and each cartidge contains the main processor. It has a low resolution display (16x16) pixels but the games are still quite playable. I think working machines are going to become hard to find over the next few years because the LCD screens are prone to decay. Mine seems OK at the moment, so I'll just keep my fingers crossed. This one came with it's original receipt - 30 quids worth in 1981!
